Founded in 2013, Thrive began as Physicians Laser Clinic of the Quad Cities.
Thrive is the culmination of two individuals lifes work - Dr. Eric Dipple’s advanced education of the medical use of lasers and advancements in medical skin health combined with Stacey Spillum’s passion for guest experience and national leadership in the beauty industry.
Together they bring to you the Quad Cities best Medical and Aesthetic Spa with a fresh vision of simplistic care.
In 2016, Dr. Dippel aquired Physicians Laser Clinic from a long time friend, and the creator of PLC, Dr. Richard Sadler. Dr. Dippel received his undergraduate degree with department honors in biomedical engineering from Northwestern University. He completed medical school and his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Iowa. He completed his general fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Kansas Medical Center. An advanced fellowship in coronary and peripheral vascular intervention was completed at the Ohio Heart Health Center and the University of Cincinnati.
In 2024, Stacey Spillum became co-owner of PLC and brought with her 23 years of experience and leadership in the beauty industry as a hairstylist, educator, business consultant and salon owner. Her talent and drive to take care of people brought new life to PLC and allowed for the elevation of the guest experience.
And so… Thrive was born.

As two worlds have collided between the medical experience of Dr. Eric Dippel and Stacey’s beauty industry experience - Thrive’s leadership has over 57 years of experience and knowledge to bring you the best Medical and Aesthetics Spa in the Quad Cities.
Instead of confusing menu’s and terminology that can’t be pronounced or understood - we simplify the medical skincare world by taking the reins for you and creating sustainable skincare and treatment plans. We aren’t into fast treatments and quick temporary fixes. Our highly educated and skilled aesthetic providers look to optimize long term results that last to minimize the unwanted effects of living life your way and keep on THRIVING!
